About Shay De Rushe
Hello, I'm Shay De Rushe, a certified mental health and wellness coach with over 10 years of experience. My passion is helping people, and my journey became a reality when I started volunteering with youth organizations, which eventually led me to open my own practice. As a Jamaican-Barbadian, I bring a unique cultural perspective to my work, grounded in warmth, empathy, and a deep understanding of human connection.
I have a strong theoretical foundation in **Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)**, and I focus on the intricate relationships between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. My goal is to help clients gain a deeper understanding of how these elements influence their daily lives, empowering them to find their own path to clarity, resilience, and emotional well-being.
